Agufy connects to Beds24 to sync bookings and power its services. Cleaning uses booking data to generate cleaning tasks. AiCom also syncs guest messages for AI-powered guest communication. This guide walks you through creating an API invite code with the right permissions for the service(s) you use.
Agufy uses the Beds24 API V2 to import booking and property information so it can generate cleaning tasks for your team. Specifically, it reads:
Room names and types, so your task cards show the correct room information.
Check-in/out dates, status, arrival time, number of guests, custom fields (custom1–10), comments and notes.
First and last name of the guest, shown on cleaning task cards so your team knows who is arriving or departing.
Agufy checks for new and updated bookings every few minutes so your schedule is always up to date.
🔒 Agufy does not read payment data, invoices, pricing, availability, or channel connections. We request only the minimum permissions needed for the service(s) you use.
💬 Note for AiCom users: AiCom requires read and write permissions on messages to sync guest conversations and send replies through Beds24. Cleaning does not need message permissions.
When you generate an invite code in Beds24, you choose which scopes (permissions) to grant. Agufy works with two configurations — pick the one that suits you best:
This is the best option if you use (or plan to use) both services. You only need to set this up once.
ℹ️ The write : bookings permission is for an upcoming Cleaning feature that writes cleaning status back to a Beds24 custom field. The messages permissions are used by AiCom to sync conversations and send replies. If you only use Cleaning, you can skip the message scopes.
If you only use Cleaning and prefer the bare minimum permissions. No message access needed.
⚠️ With this setup, AiCom won't work (no message access) and the future cleaning write-back feature won't be available. You'd need to generate a new invite code to add more permissions later.
These scopes can be left unchecked unless noted otherwise:
| Scope | Notes |
|---|---|
| bookings-financial | Not needed — Agufy doesn't read invoices, payments, or prices |
| inventory | Not needed — no pricing or availability data is used |
| channels | Not needed — no interaction with Airbnb, Booking.com, etc. |
| messages | Only needed for AiCom — required to sync guest conversations and send replies. Not needed for Cleaning. |
| delete : (anything) | Not needed — Agufy never deletes data from Beds24 |
Log in to your Beds24 account and go to:
Settings → Marketplace → API
Or open this link directly: beds24.com/control3.php?pagetype=apiv2
You'll see a list of checkboxes for scopes. Select only the scopes listed above (depending on which option you chose). Leave everything else unchecked.
Summary of checkboxes to tick:
| Checkbox | Read | Write |
|---|---|---|
| properties | ✅ yes | — no |
| bookings | ✅ yes | ✅ recommended |
| bookings-personal | ✅ yes | — no |
| bookings-financial | — no | — no |
| inventory | — no | — no |
| channels | — no | — no |
| messages | ✅ AiCom | ✅ AiCom |
If you only use Cleaning, leave messages unchecked. If you use AiCom (or both), tick read + write for messages.
If you manage properties linked to your Beds24 account (under Account Management → Manage Property), tick "Allow linked properties" so Agufy can access all of them. If you only have one property, you can skip this.
Click "Generate invite code". Beds24 will show you an alphanumeric code. Copy it — you'll paste it into Agufy in the next step.
⚠️ Invite codes expire after 15 minutes. Paste it into Agufy right away. If it expires, simply generate a new one.
In Agufy, go to Admin → Configuration → Beds24 API. Paste the invite code into the field and click Save.
Agufy will automatically exchange the invite code for a secure refresh token, connect to your account, and start the first sync. You should see your rooms appear within seconds.
Go to the Calendar or Today view. You should see your rooms and any bookings that have check-outs or check-ins coming up. Cleaning tasks are generated automatically.
From now on, Agufy syncs automatically every few minutes. You can also trigger a manual sync anytime from the dashboard by clicking "Sync now".
Agufy automatically syncs bookings from Beds24 every 10–15 minutes. Most users don’t need this step. A webhook only makes sense if you need booking changes reflected within seconds instead of minutes.
⚠️ The webhook URL contains a secret key — treat it like a password.
Agufy takes your data security seriously:
Make sure the read : properties scope was selected when generating the invite code. If not, generate a new one with the correct scopes.
This means the read : bookings-personal scope was not included. Generate a new invite code with this scope enabled, then paste it into Agufy to reconnect.
Invite codes expire after 15 minutes. If yours has expired, go back to Beds24 and generate a fresh one. Also ensure there are no extra spaces when copying/pasting.
This can happen if the refresh token hasn't been used in 30+ days (e.g. your property was inactive). Go to Admin → Configuration → Beds24 API and paste a new invite code to reconnect.
